ABOUT

Matthew Leon, born and raised in Miami, Florida, is currently a student at Berklee College of Music, majoring in Contemporary Writing and Production as well as Music Production and Engineering.

A composer, arranger, and performer who has written music for a variety of instruments, including marching bands, pop-rock bands, and big bands. Matthew is also the recipient of the John Philips Sousa Award due to his superior musicianship and outstanding performance.

Additionally, he has performed with and been a part of many ensembles at Berklee, including the Miley Cyrus ensemble, The Jibalis, and the Earth, Wind & Fire ensemble, among others. Additionally, his goals in his studies are to learn and grow as a musician and make as many real-world connections as possible.
